Critical chance, Critical damage, HP regen is considered to be one of the best sub stats, while exp and coins are great for grinding. Therefore, there are cards that is the same levels at the same upgrade but one of them is still better than the other. Note: The sub stats a card get will be completely random. While Rare and Uncommon usually only have 1-2 sub stats.

Each player can equip up to 3 cards, you can also upgrade them by using coins (Max level is 25), but the levels upgraded by coins is separated from the base level of the card. Levels play a huge role in determining if the card is good or not, because even a level 21 uncommon card can be better than a level 19 epic card. Time Challenge however will always give you cards that is equal to your levels. For example, easy Demon Dimension will give you level 16 cards, while Hard Curse Dimension will give you level 36 cards. The hardness of the dimension will determine the levels of the cards. They can be used for increasing your hero's stats making them stronger. Cards are special items you can get by clearing a Dimension, killing 100 enemies in Time Challenge or buy from the Raid shop for 250.
